In April, I’ll be playing two classical concerts, the first, with the Chamber Orchestra of Grand Rapids at The Stray, in Grand Rapids, Michigan on April 9th, and the second will be a solo concert at The Colvin House in Chicago, on April 19.
April 9: Trio Sonatas and More with The Chamber Orchestra of Grand Rapids
On April 9th, I will be performing trio sonatas and some early baroque and classical sinfonias and symphonies with my orchestra, The Chamber Orchestra of Grand Rapids. This will be a free performance ($10 suggested donation) at The Stray in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Date: April 9 2022. Time 7:00 pm EDT
Location: The Stray 4253 Division Ave S Suite A, Grand Rapids, MI 49548
April 19: Solo Mandolin and Octave Mandolin at The Colvin House, in Chicago
This will be my first classical concert given in Chicago, so I am quite excited! I’ll be performing a mix of solo Bach, Telemann, Dowland, Lecce, Riggieri, Leone, Calace and Pettine, and perhaps an original composition or two. I’ll be playing on my Neapolitan styled bowlback mandolin and my Celtic-styled octave mandolin. This will be quite an intimate and informal concert, so if you come, make sure you say hi!
Specific pieces I’ll be performing include: Bach’s B Minor violin partita, Riggieri’s La Fustemberg, Lecce Solo Sonatas, and more!
Date: April 19, 2022: Time: 6:30 CDT
Location: The Colvin House 5940 N Sheridan Rd, Chicago, IL 60660
